Issue Position

When Jim took over as Mayor in 2009, the city's government, property owners, and renters were at an impasse. Jim made a bold promise to citizens: "Rental Industry, police your own or I'll do it for you." That message was heeded, and because of Jim's leadership all our citizens, including our renters, are safer. Property owners are maintaining their properties, citizens are safer, and tenants now have a Tenants Bill of Rights.

There are 20% more code enforcement officers and a police substation in Princeton Homes with more on the way. Mayor Ireton has traveled in our neighborhoods extensively, never forgetting that where he came from is exactly where he lives.
